1. Definitions
“ We”, “Our”, “Us”, “Salt and Light”: Refers to Salt and Light FZE, an Indian traditional grocery store registered in the UAE.
“You”, “Your”, “Customer”: Refers to the user or buyer accessing our Site and services.
2. Eligibility & Use of Site
You must be at least 18 years old to place an order.
You agree to use the Site only for lawful purposes to purchase grocery items, spices, oils, and other Indian traditional products for personal or household use.
You agree not to misuse the Site, including uploading viruses, attempting unauthorized access, or providing false information.
3. Products & Pricing
All products listed are subject to availability. We sell Indian groceries and healthy products.
Prices are listed in AED and include VAT where applicable. Prices may change without prior notice.
Product images are for illustration only. Actual packaging may vary by brand and batch.
4. Orders & Payment
By placing an order, you agree to pay the total amount including product price, VAT, and delivery charges.
We accept payment via Card, and Cash on Delivery, which is listed at checkout.
Salt and Light FZE reserves the right to cancel or refuse any order due to stock issues, incorrect pricing, or suspected fraud.
5. Shipping & Delivery - UAE Only
We currently deliver across Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Sharjah, Ajman, and other Emirates. Delivery timelines are estimates:
- Same/Next Day Delivery: Dubai & Sharjah
- 2-3 Working Days: Other Emirates
Delivery charges will be calculated at checkout. Free delivery available on orders above a specified amount.
We are not liable for delays caused by courier partners, weather, traffic, or customs. Perishable items must be accepted upon delivery.
6. Account Registration
To shop, you may create an account. You agree to provide accurate name, address, phone, and email.
You are responsible for keeping your login details confidential and for all activity under your account.
7. Intellectual Property
All content on http://www.saltandlightuae.store including logos, product descriptions, images, and branding are owned by Salt and Light FZE.
You may not copy, reproduce, republish, or resell any content without written permission.
8. Food Safety & Disclaimer
We source products from trusted Indian brands and suppliers. While we ensure proper storage, we are not liable for allergic reactions or dietary issues. Please check ingredients and expiry dates on delivery.
9. Limitation of Liability
Salt and Light FZE shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our products or website.
Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the value of the order placed.

We may update these Terms at any time. The "Last updated" date will reflect changes. Continued use of the Site means you accept the updated Terms.
11. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates. Any disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of UAE courts.
